Oaktree Environmental consultants - Our History

Oaktree Environmental was formed in July 1997 by Marco Muia to provide a responsive and competitive consultancy service to all sectors of the waste management industry. His previous experience included holding Team Leader post for the Environment Agency, as well as working within a number of Local Authorities including Cheshire County Council.

During the following years the business progressed well, and in 2003 became Oaktree Environmental Limited. By this point, Oaktree had successfully handled over 300 waste related applications, and had acquired a small team of consultants and support staff.

In 2006 Oaktree moved into their new home - an industrial office based in Winsford, Cheshire. New members of staff joined the team and the company continued to grow.

During 2008 Oaktree decided to double-up on assisting the local area's waste management needs by purchasing and operating a small shredding & baling unit. This part of the business is known as 'A2Shred' and confidential shredding operations take place in an adjoining industrial unit.

Now well into our 12th year of consultancy and still growing at a steady rate, we have a loyal and friendly workforce who eagerly look forward to the next challenge!
